If I had to spend the rest of my life wearing only one thing, it would be the color black. There is just something so rich and classy about it and I love the way it looks on me. Many of my friends feel similarly. When I have an occasional wardrobe crisis, I automatically reach for something black because it’s easy and you simply can’t go wrong in choosing it. It goes anywhere and is classic and stylish. This might be why every woman has the quintessential “little black dress” in her closet. Black is amazingly versatile and with the right accessories can be dressed up or down to fit most any wardrobe need.
Black flatters the body and because of its rich darkness, creates an instantly slimming effect on the body. This translates especially well to all types of lingerie, from the very basic to the ultra tantalizing. We women always want to look our best, but especially so when we stripped down to our undies. Black lingerie is definitely going to set your assets off to their best advantage, even in the simplest styles.

Black is great for basics. If you are still creating or wanting to add to your every day lingerie wardrobe, the color black is a perfect place to begin. Bras, panties, shapers, slips and camisoles are readily available in black and the bonus is that these pieces will automatically look 10 times sexier just by virtue of the fact that they are the color black. There is just something irresistibly sexy about the deep and sultry color of the night.
Take your black lingerie one step further and use it for unapologetic seductive purposes. Black is the obvious choice for teddies, bustiers, corsets, g-strings, negligees and other super sexy lingerie choices designed to be ultra dramatic and super sexy. Black lingerie worn in the bedroom absolutely will take center stage and your man will not be able to keep his eyes off of you—or his hands.
Life is filled with so many choices, but sometimes it’s easier just to not have to make one. Sometimes it’s easier to just not to have to think too hard and just stick with a tried and true staple. Black. It’s simply magical. Or should I say black magic? xo J.
